Something has gotten into me these days. Like, gosh, those days are coming. Those days when we will be no longer the kid from college. The days when we have to face life like an adult. The real life, like they say, has just begun.
Its not that we didn’t want to grow up. Its just, for me, in medical school, life walks slower. We grow inches by inches while in other places, the other kids grow running. Haha. Maybe its because the system of education in medical school is no different than when we were in elementary school!! We just have to follow the system. We don’t have to think (or maybe the contents of what we learn are just that enormous?!). We are now too hesitant to walk out of our comfort zone.
But now, things are different. Just about 3 months for now, the school era will finish (only to continue with another school era?!). the real life of a doctor and a full grown man starts there. And believe me, life wont give something that easy. Haha.
Marriage is another thing. Being in my mid 20’s i have to see one by one of my friends are getting married. I remember it was something unthinkable just a few years back, when we were too busy finding out whats new in town, the music, concerts, movies, photo huntings, and lots of that. And i have to get used to that.
“when will you get married?”, a friend was just doing a small talk to one of my friend. He never expected the answer was:
“next year. i’ll be engaged by the end of the year”, and the silence fell between us…
I know it will never be easy to be married. And i really hope they –who’s planning to be married soon- know what they do. Looking back on today, gimana kita masih bisa jalan2, milih2 pacar, buang2 duit jajan atau gaji untuk kesenangan pribadi. Sedangkan kalo lo udah terikat, oh man…
3 mayat kadaluarsa di ruang otopsi, dan gue di BFM menulis ini…
Mang kenapa kalo udah terikat? you haven’t been there yet, so don’t be so cynical, hehe..
All you have to do just finding the right woman to be married with & TOGETHER manage your time & money wisely. that’s all. *sok tau gw, hihi*
Gw & hubby msh bisa koq jalan2 (bareng kel/bareng teman masing2) malah lumayan sering gw traveling cm berdua with my hubby, seru!!
buang2 duit gaji bwt kesenangan pribadi? why not? hey, we work hard for that. you earn it, you deserve it. asal kelola duit lo dg baik *ciee..*
You will be there sooner or later, my friend! it’s only a matter of time, & when you get there, i wish you have a happy married life!
